Not Happy? Give more options.

Earlier this week I attended a lecture for my Visual Perception class, the lecturer, Steve Ettlinger worked as a non-fiction book packager. He brought up in his lecture that he had no control over the covers of his books. This reminded me of a post on BoingBoing, that explained the creative solution to this problem by author Ben Tripp. Ben Tripp was upset by the cover designed for his zombie book because he wrote it for a wide audience, and the cover only appealed to fans of the genera. So, Ben defied the publishers and created alternative ugly cover designs that could be downloaded and printed to replace the dust cover. Way to stick it to 'em!
