This article on artifo.com tells the story of a man, who only wants to be refered to as Martin. After growing up with a painting in his house that everyone refered to as "the mike," he brought it to art restorer Antonio Forcellino. Forcellino was surprised to find that this particualr painting was in fact an unfinished piece by Michelangelo. If it is proven by other historians to be a Michelangelo painting, it will be only one of four known panel paintings by the master. The painting is believed to be a sketch of the above sculpture.
