Nice Ride

I read this article on Core77 about green design. The last part of the article outlined a bike share program in Paris called Paris VĂ©lib. Well, early this spring in Minneapolis (where I'm from) almost over night every major intersection  was equip with one of these Nice Ride stations. Obviously based on the system is Paris, these Nice Ride bikes finally give us the edge over Portland to be named the #1 biking city in the US (and half the year we can't even ride bikes). But along with that came all the positive effects of encouraging people to ride bikes: a greener city, less traffic, healthier citizens, and a little more money in our pockets.
